Look up a term from the RIVR handbook's glossary and get its one-sentence definition plus the pages that use it. Omit 'term' to get the whole glossary, which is the vocabulary the rest of the handbook is written in. Public and read-only.
Parameters
| Param | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
term | string | — | The term to define, e.g. 'proxy'. Omit for the whole glossary. |

Read one page of the RIVR user handbook as Markdown, by its slug (from rivr.wiki.search). Pass 'task' to get just that one procedure's numbered steps instead of the whole page. Also returns the page's questions, terms and related pages so an answer can cite a page and point at the next one. Public and read-only.
Parameters
| Param | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
slug | string | yes | The page slug, e.g. 'voice' or 'having-a-say'. |
task | string | — | Optional. A task key or title from the page; returns only that procedure's steps. |
rivr.wiki.search

MCP Token
Search the RIVR user handbook with a question in plain language, e.g. 'how do I hand my vote to someone for the budget decisions?'. Returns ranked pages with their slug, title, summary, the visible menu path the page documents, the page's own questions that match, and the titles of the step-by-step procedures it teaches. Public and read-only: no credential is required and nothing about the caller is recorded. Follow a result with rivr.wiki.read to get the page or one procedure's steps.
Parameters
| Param | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
question | string | yes | The question to answer, in the words a person would use. |
limit | number | — | Maximum pages to return. Defaults to 5. |
