A group's treasury
The money a group holds, its accounts, what is waiting on you, and where its policy is set. Group admins only.
What this is
A group's treasury is the money the group holds, as opposed to the money you hold.
It sits behind the Treasury tab on a group's page, and it is for group admins only. Members and visitors never see it.
What you see
The tab is headed Treasury, with Manage treasury beside it and the page's own Add widget and Reset layout controls.
Ten panels sit below, and one more is available to add.
Treasury snapshot gives the current balance, then three figures labelled Available, Reserved and Committed, then this month's revenue, expenses and net.
Waiting on you lists work claims awaiting your attestation and treasury proposals awaiting your signature. Each row opens the page where you act on it.
Accounts and wallets lists the group's accounts with their connection state and their balances, each with a link reading Manage.
Upcoming payments lists the next payroll release and any transfers waiting to be executed.
Recent transactions lists the group's transactions with five filters: All, Income, Expenses, Transfers and Payroll.
Budget status lists the spending limits the group has set on its crypto treasury, each with how much is left.
Revenue streams lists this month's inflows by kind, with the change from last month beside each.
Subgroup and project balances lists each pocket with what is available and what has been spent.
Treasury governance lists the group's open proposals and polls, each linking into its Governance tab.
Reports and trends draws six months of net cashflow, offers a CSV download, and lists past fiscal closes.
Payroll and payouts is registered but switched off. Add it from the Add widget list if you want it.

How to
Open a group's treasury
- Open the group.
- Press the Treasury tab. It appears only if you are an admin of that group.
- The panels load.
You can also open Wallet under Manage and press its Treasuries tab, then choose the group.
Narrow the transaction list
- Find the Recent transactions panel.
- Press one of the five filters: All, Income, Expenses, Transfers or Payroll.
- Scroll inside the panel to load more.
Export the transactions
- Find the Reports and trends panel.
- Press the small button marked CSV. It appears only when there is something to export.
- The file downloads.
Open the treasury settings
- Open the group's Treasury tab.
- Press Manage treasury at the top right.
- Four sections open: accounts and payment rails, payroll and payout policy, subgroup banking and spending limits, and crypto settings.
What changes for you
Only a group admin reaches any of this. For anyone else the tab is removed from the strip, and the page behind it shows nothing.
Nothing is signed or attested inside these panels. Each row links out to the page where the action happens.
A group with no crypto treasury sees the budget panel empty, with a line explaining where budgets are set.
A group whose payroll withholding is off sees the payroll panel say so.
The one download on this surface is the CSV. There is no statement to print.
Where this connects
- Money explains how a group treasury differs from your own wallet.
- Wallet is your own money, and carries a Treasuries tab for the groups you administer.
- Subgroups and projects explains the pockets the balances panel lists.
