Wallet
Your balances, your sales, your profit shares, your expenses and, when you administer one, your groups' treasuries.
Where this lives: Manage > Wallet
What this is
Wallet is your money. It holds what you have, what you have sold, what you are owed, and what you have spent.
It also carries a way into the treasuries of the groups you administer.
What you see
The page is panels you can rearrange, not tabs. Everything is on screen at once, and you can move a panel, resize it, collapse it or hide it.
Financial overview shows three tiles side by side, labelled Rivr, Integrated and Crypto. The Rivr tile counts your Thanks rather than money. The Integrated tile shows money. The Crypto tile counts the addresses you have linked.
Wallets lists one row per wallet with its owner, its kind and its balance. When you have none, it says one is created on your first transaction.
This window gives four figures, labelled In, Out, Net and Settled transactions. They cover the transactions loaded below, not your whole history.
Recent transactions lists them.
Expenses lists the project expenses you have recorded.
Stake and shares lists the profit share you hold in each group, with the total above them. When you hold none it says so, and explains that shares are allocated by each group from its own contribution figures.
Down the side, Sales gives your gross, your fees, your net and a count of settlements, and Payouts gives your available amount, your pending amount, your held proceeds, and whether charges and payouts are switched on.
Group treasuries appears only when you administer at least one group. It shows one pill per group, and pressing one opens that group's treasury below. If you administer none, the panel is not there at all rather than sitting empty.
What you can do here
- See what you have. See Check your balances.
- Get set up to take card payments. See Set up a payout account.
- Move money out to your bank. See Take a payout.
- Read what you have sold. See See your sales.
- Open a group's money. See Open a group's treasury.
How to
Check your balances
- Open Wallet under Manage.
- Look at the Financial overview and Wallets panels.
- Read the three tiles across the top.
- Read Wallets below them for one row per wallet.
Your profile also carries a Wallet panel with the same balances and four sub-tabs: Transactions, Purchases, Sales and Taxes.
Set up a payout account
- Open your profile.
- Find the Wallet panel.
- Press Set Up Payout Account.
- Follow the steps the payment provider asks for.
- Come back. The panel now shows whether charges, payouts and details are in order.
Until then, the Payouts panel in Wallet tells you no payout account is connected and points you at Settings.
Take a payout
- Open your profile.
- Find the Wallet panel.
- Read the available amount. The payout controls appear only when there is something to pay out.
- Press the bank payout control for the slower route, or the instant one when it is offered.
- A note confirms the payout has started.
See your sales
- Open Wallet under Manage.
- Find the Sales panel down the side.
- Read Sales for the totals and Payouts for where the money stands.
These are your settlements as the seller. The other side of the same money sits under Marketplace.
Open a group's treasury
- Open Wallet under Manage.
- Find the Group treasuries panel. It is there only when you administer a group.
- Press the pill for the group.
- That group's treasury opens below.
What changes for you
You must be signed in to reach Wallet.
The Group treasuries panel lists only groups you created or administer. Places are never listed.
The figures under This window cover the transactions loaded on the page, not your lifetime.
Your profit share percentages are set by each group from its own figures. They are not a Rivr-wide rule.
Selling with a card needs a Seller membership or higher and a connected payout account.
Where this connects
- Money explains fees, payouts, receipts and treasuries together.
- Listings is what you sell.
- A group's treasury is the group's money rather than yours.
