What the hub is

The hub is your home in Rivr, built from panels you arrange, scoped to the places you belong to.

What this is

Rivr is a network of people, places and groups who share work, money, events and decisions.

The hub is the part you use. It is one screen with a menu down the left, a bar across the top, and a page in the middle made of panels.

Everything you do in Rivr happens on one of those pages. Nothing is hidden behind a separate app.

What you see

The menu down the left is grouped into six headings.

Home holds the Dashboard, the Map and Explore. These are the three ways to look at everything.

My Places lists the places you belong to, and the Global Hub at the bottom, which is every place at once.

My Groups lists the groups you belong to.

Manage holds the thirteen things that are yours to run. Profile, Saved, Events, Groups, Voice, People, Gigs, Listings, Marketplace, Messages, Broadcast, Wallet and Calendar.

Tools holds Builder, Docs, Canvas, AI and Flow Planning.

Account holds Settings, Support and Log out.

The bar across the top holds, from left to right, a button that folds the menu away, a pill that says which place you are viewing in, a search box, a light and dark switch, a bell for notifications, an envelope for messages, a plus button for making something new, and your picture.

How to

Take the tour

1. Open Dashboard under Home. This is what you see every time you sign in.
2. Open Map under Home. Every event, group, post and offering with a location sits on it.
3. Open Explore under Home. The same world as pictures and as a graph.
4. Open one of your places under My Places. This is that place's own front page.
5. Open Gigs under Manage. This is the work you could pick up.
6. Open Voice under Manage. This is every decision waiting on you.

Find anything

1. Press the search box in the bar at the top.
2. Type a name, a word or a phrase.
3. Read the results, which are grouped as Posts, Events, Groups, People and Listings.
4. Press the one you want.

What changes for you

If you are not signed in, you can still read the Global Hub, the Map, Explore and search. You cannot post, claim work, vote or see your own pages.

If you have not chosen a place yet, the pill in the top bar reads All Locales and nothing is filtered. Choosing a place narrows most pages to that place.

If you belong to no groups yet, the My Groups heading is empty and several panels tell you to join a group first.
