People
Your network sorted into friends, clients, colleagues and people you may know, with a message and a connect on every row.

What this is
People is your network. Somebody appears here only because there is a real tie between you and them.
The whole directory of everybody on this deployment is a separate list, reached from a button on this page.
What you see
The title reads People. Above it sits the place you are viewing in, or a line naming the four groupings.
A button reading Browse everyone sits at the top right of the middle column.
The narrow left column holds Your network, one row per grouping with a count beside it.
There are exactly four groupings.
Friends are people you are connected with.
Clients are people who have bought from you or booked you.
Colleagues are people you share a project or a job with.
You may know are people in your groups and places you have not connected with yet.
Somebody sits in one grouping only, in that order of priority.
The wide middle column is titled after whichever grouping you chose, with its description beneath and its size beside it. A view control switches the list between rows, cards and pictures.
Each row carries the person's picture, their name, a Message button and a Connect button.
The narrow right column holds a conditions card.
The page header carries Add widget and Reset layout. Everything else about a panel is on the panel itself.
What you can do here
- Look through the people you already have a tie to. See Browse your network.
- Add somebody to your connections. See Connect with somebody.
- Start a conversation. See Message somebody.
- Look at everybody, tie or no tie. See Browse everybody.
How to
Browse your network
- Open People under Manage.
- Press one of the four groupings in the left column.
- Read the list in the middle.
- Press a name to open that person's profile.
Connect with somebody
- Open People under Manage.
- Find the person.
- Press Connect on their row. The button changes to Connected.
The Connect button is not drawn in the Friends grouping, because you are already connected there.
Message somebody
- Open People under Manage.
- Find the person.
- Press Message on their row.
- Messages opens with that conversation ready.
Browse everybody
- Open People under Manage.
- Press Browse everyone at the top.
- A flat list of everybody opens, each with their picture, name and stated location.
- Press a name to open their profile.
The full directory has no filters and no buttons on its rows.
What changes for you
You must be signed in to see your own network. A signed-out visitor is told to sign in.
The page opens on the first grouping that actually has somebody in it.
Choosing a place in the pill at the top narrows your network to people who share that place.
The counts in the left column cover the whole grouping, not what is on screen.
Somebody with no stated location shows no location. Nothing is guessed for them.
